PETALING JAYA:

National men’s doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik stormed into the Arctic Open final after sweeping aside Thailand’s Dechapol Puavaranukroh-Kittinupong Kedren at Vantaa, Finland, early this morning.

They joined Pearly Tan-M Thinaah, who qualified for the final of the women’s doubles event at the Energia Areena earlier.

In the final tonight, Aaron-Wooi Yik will play England’s Ben Lane-Sean Vendy, who defeated Malaysians Choong Hon Jian-Hakimi Nazri in the other semi-final match

Aaron-Wooi Yik have already won the Badminton Asian Championships, the Thailand Open, and the Singapore Open this year in one of their best seasons of their career.
