Army veterans to strengthen discipline at AKPS

The Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) is set to welcome 220 recruits next year, with priority given to armed forces veterans in a move aimed at boosting discipline, efficiency, and security across the nation’s borders.
AKPS director-general Shuhaily Zain said the inclusion of former soldiers will not only reinforce the agency’s workforce, but also inject valuable military experience and a strong sense of discipline into its operations, Sinar Harian reported.
