Terengganu Umno Youth has apologised for the mistake in a graphic of the Jalur Gemilang posted on the wing’s social media account while in Penang, the hardware store owner who hoisted the national flag upside down has made amends with a giant flag courtesy of DAP.
Terengganu Umno Youth chief, Tengku Haphiz Putera, said it was an unintentional mistake by the graphic designer.
“I will not defend him even though he did it for us for free. We will leave it to the authorities to investigate the matter.
“Terengganu Umno Youth will not compromise on this mistake,” he said in a video posted on Facebook.
