
PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh was noncommittal when asked whether Yamani Hafez Musa, son of Sabah governor Musa Aman, had joined the party.
Fuziah said the question should be directed to Yamani Hafez Musa. She said despite talk that he had joined PKR, she would respect his right to decide if he wanted to make it public.
“Even though I’m the secretary-general, I respect individual rights. So it’s best to ask him. If he doesn’t want to announce it, that’s his right,” The Star quoted her as saying.
In August, Sabah PH chairman Mustapha Sakmud similarly did not answer the question on whether Yamani had joined the party. “You have to ask the person himself. We will announce it later,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
