
Parti Cinta Sabah president Anifah Aman hopes to perfect his industrial development framework for Kimanis if he is elected the next Bongawan assemblyman in the upcoming state polls.
The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah deputy chairman said he began implementing his vision as Kimanis MP from 2004 to 2019, and that the setting up of an oil and gas (O&G) technology university was among the final pieces of the puzzle.
He said throughout the years, he had put in a lot of effort to establish the existing O&G terminal in Kimanis, the parliamentary constituency where Bongawan is located, to provide job opportunities for locals and spur the energy sector.
