
An unemployed man was arrested early this morning after riding his motorcycle recklessly and injuring a police officer during a scuffle along Jalan Mempelam in Taman Gembira, Klang.
Klang Selatan police chief Ramli Kasa said the incident took place at about 6.30am when the motorcycle ridden by the 28-year-old suspect grazed a car driven by a 55-year-old man.
He said the driver stopped to inspect his vehicle before getting into an argument with the suspect, Berita Harian reported.
“The suspect acted aggressively and threw a can of alcoholic drink at the complainant, who managed to dodge it. The driver then contacted the police for assistance,” he said.
When the police arrived, the suspect tried to flee on his motorcycle and nearly rammed into the complainant in the process.
