
Malaysia stands ready to engage Islamic world leaders through the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to strongly condemn Israel’s escalating violence and human rights violations, says Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar said he would personally take the initiative to contact several key Muslim leaders, including the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Israel’s conduct has gone far beyond the limits of decency,” Bernama reported him as saying after officiating the 9th International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities (ICOSH 2025) in Putrajaya today.
