A light-hearted exchange between Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and US president Donald Trump added a personal touch to the formal signing of the US-Malaysia reciprocal trade agreement today.
As the two leaders reached for their pens, Anwar quipped, “I think I’m going to get this pen,” drawing smiles from those in attendance.
While signing the document, Trump glanced at Anwar’s signature and commented: “Interesting signature.”
Anwar responded with a grin, saying: “Not as interesting as yours.”
