
The Federation of Peninsular Malay Students (GPMS) has lodged numerous police reports nationwide against a Universiti Malaya student body over its remarks about the matriculation programme and called for it to be probed for sedition among others.
Penang GPMS alone has lodged six police reports, the state chapter’s vice-chairman Danial Alimin revealed.
He added that police reports were also lodged in Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Pahang and Perak by the respective state chapters.
“Other states are expected to follow suit in the coming days,” he told FMT.
Separately, when contacted, Negeri Sembilan GPMS vice-chairman Hakim Zain said they will lodge a police report today.
