
PKR’s Rafizi Ramli today denied any links between the recent attack on his son and former prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
In a post on X, the Pandan MP said there were claims that information was provided by a whistleblower a week before the attack on his son about a money laundering case allegedly involving Ismail, the country’s ninth prime minister.
There were also claims that the same information revolved around projects connected to Khairy when he was the health minister, he said.
“Both of these allegations are false. It has nothing to do with Ismail Sabri or Khairy or any other politician,” he said, describing such claims as a malicious attempt to divert attention from the case.
The former PKR deputy president’s 12-year-old son was attacked at a shopping mall in Putrajaya last week.
