Singaporean drives away with pump attached at JB kiosk
A petrol station in Johor Bahru was forced to suspend operations after a Singapore-registered car drove off with the hose and nozzle still attached, yanking out an entire petrol pump.
The Straits Times reported that Johor resident Chen Zi Xin, who happened to be at the scene, took photographs and videos of the incident and posted them on Facebook.
In one video, an employee is seen running towards a collapsed petrol pump as the driver emerges from his vehicle.
Chen said her parents were refuelling when a loud sound drew their attention to another pump ahead of them that had collapsed.
She said her father then saw the driver being waved down by a station employee, but her family hurriedly left the station soon after for fear of an explosion.
She said at least three other motorists had to abandon their petrol pumps as the station stopped operations…
