Too soon to decide on polls pact with Warisan, says Muhyiddin
Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin has declined to confirm whether PN will work with Warisan in the Sabah state assembly election expected this year.
He said the matter remains fluid. “There are many possibilities. If you ask the other parties, some have already decided (on political cooperation) while some have not,” he said at a press conference after closing Bersatu’s general assembly today.
He said parties in Sabah would weigh various factors before committing to any alliance.
“The political situation there is quite different. We have to wait until the very last minute because each party has their considerations,” he said. “I think it’s not wise at this stage to make any firm commitments. There are still matters that have yet to be resolved, so we will wait for the right time.”
